This is my FIRST original piece featuring a character I've had since sixth grade. I'm now 18. She started out as a fan character, and has now grown into a character far from any anime or manga. The amber-haired girl on the right is who she was at age ten, when she thought she was only human. The one on the left is her now, at age 17, a werewolf and a warrior-mystic. Yes, she is supposed to look very boyish on the left, since that's how she chooses to appear.
Every one, meet Seiya Li, the Marked Werewolf.

Is the change in skin and hair color due to her change to a werewolf, or some other transformation? I love how you drew the scars; they are very realistic.
Thanks! The change in skin color is actually due to LOTS of being outside. I remeber there was one summer I turned almost that dark by being outside for several hours a day, almost everyday....

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.
